While recording I am having noise problems from my computer and have to shut down and restart. As my time is limited I would prefer to streamline this process and eliminate the problem. Of course constant Microsoft updates is not helping.

Yes I am talking about the infamous 5S, 6S, industrial engineering monster that Toyota unleashed on the world. I mention an example in Medical, Manufacturing, and IT. I would have gone into Legal profession but I ran out of time.

This is all about the when everything goes out of control in a project.

New schedule for going forward to keep the content up to date.

Record 1st or second weekend of every month.

Release 1 episode every two weeks afterward.

Start developing video content over the next 6 months.

Here are this parts I wanted to go into in 16.

Having a problem with my recording system where it starts a high pitched tone and crackling. Have to work through it.

I am having problems with my computer. I cracked the screen. Still functional but I can not do the recording for the podcast. However when I get a new monitor or use one of my old CRT console. I am now working full time conducting training for people learning the basics of being in Manufacturing.

Basics of creating and conducting training.

I have found out I have the ability to create an internet radio station. I am thinking of taking all of the podcasts and put together a system to group appropriate podcasts into subject matter groups to be streamed. Then have basic music entertainment between.

Then start putting together times and systems for a live call in show. This will take some time to put together but I feel it would be a good direction to go.

The podcasts will not stop. Matter of fact I will be getting even more podcasts done in this case as the live shows would become podcasts that, with some editing, could be used in the radio station or as stand alone podcasts.

How to do Check when conducting the PDCA cycle.

You would think that without a day to day 9 to 5 (by contract not reality) job/career one would have tons of time to pursue other activities.

You would think that.

However the reality is something completely different.

Here is how:

1. Job search takes a priority. Have to justify the meager unemployment insurance by at least 5 resumes/applications sent out.

2. Start your own business or partner up with someone who is running a business.

3. Projects around the home. Your significant other has to pick up the slack on you so you need to step up and fill in around the home. Floors don’t sweep themselves and the dishes do not wash themselves.

4. Keeping up with the hobbies and health.

This is just the short list of priorities that have to be balanced out. Using Lean, Six Sigma, and Project Management methods do make it easy to pursue the next opportunities. Using Lean to eliminate waste in your search processes. Using Six Sigma to minimize variation in the tools sent out. For example using the internet to find networking events and possible opportunities. Using Six Sigma on the resume and cover letters as well as your social media presence.

Everything else should be run as a project with an end date in mind based on your financial situation.
